A very unusual meaning for the word hero. I thought of what the source text wanted to convey and asked myself what are some attributes of heroes. The first attribute that came to mind was courage, hence my suggestion. Good luck.

OK, as this abominable neologism of dubious heritage is a result of an organic and living language, There is in fact a direct translation. But at least in Poruguese the verb exists!.

O primeiro estranho, o segundo não.
No entanto, não me parece que o sentido seja esse, penso que "está mais inclinado" para o sentido de assinalar/distinguir o importante/o melhor das atividades nas campanhas.
A palavra tem origem no grego ("heros") que significa nobre ou senhor, e sendo assim eu diria algo como:
"A empresa recompensará as melhores ideias e distinguirá as melhores atividades nas suas campanhas."
