Born in Kenya to a bi-lingual family, I grew up speaking primarily English and Swahili. I spent most of my childhood in Nairobi, where I later trained and studied to become a Telecommunications technician. I later relocated to Germany, living in a small town in Bayern which has been my home for over thirteen years now. Here I learnt the German language, attaining proficiency level C1 certification.

Due to my love for languages, I decided to change my career path and have been teaching the English, German and Swahili at different levels. I have a particular interest in special needs education and have additionally trained and certified in working with special needs children. I've written a self-help guide book (eBook) in this topic.

My telecommunications background make me ideal for Business and Technical English. I also do English-German /Swahili translation (and vice versa), and have done some pro bono work in German-Swahili translation.
