Bio

Paul Ashton has been studying Chinese language for more than a decade and translating freelance for over 4 years. After majoring in Chinese language at the undergraduate level, Paul immersed himself in a Chinese Master’s Degree program at Donghua University in Tourism Management. After relocating to Shanghai, Paul has honed specialty in translation in the fields of gaming, hospitality, business, journalism, miscellaneous arts, as well as cosmetics.

Paul specializes in transcreation, specifically in creative localization of language. In his free time, Paul enjoys crafting and sewing, and is an accomplished comedian and performer.
