Is it possible to automatically confirm 99% matches using Transit XV? Thread poster: huutsch

Hello, I am working on a very large project and have many many many 99% matches. In order to save time, I would be willing to run the risk of automatically confirming them and catching any mistakes during the proofreading process. Is there a possibility to do this? Regards, Michael | | | starspain Spain Local time: 08:14 Member (2003) Spanish to German + ... Yes, you can :-) | Jun 28, 2010 |
You can create a segment filter using the fuzzy percentage of the segments and show all segments which are above or below or equal a certain value. With the segment filter applied you then mark everything as translated, and your done. Regards, Michael Scholand | | | huutsch Local time: 08:14 German to English + ... First of all, Michael, thank you for this very quick answer! That sounds good, but how does Transit know that there is a 99% match for a certain segment? Do I not have to "open" the segment first and therewith access the reference material? What I would like for Transit to do is to safe me from hitting Alt + Enter every time a 99% match comes up. | | | Also possible during import | Jun 28, 2010 |
Hello, Doing this is also possible during import: Under project | Settings | Pretranslation 1/2 set "Minimum quality of pretranslation (%)" to "99" But of course, you have to be aware about any negative results for not checking such segments by yourself. Best regards ATT

Thanks again! However, since I receive the already pretranslated files, this does not work for me with this project. | | | huutsch Local time: 08:14 German to English + ... TOPIC STARTER I still need help... | Jun 29, 2010 |

Mark them as translated via Extras > Dateistatus > Übersetzt (or Options > File Status > Translated). Remove the filter and continue translating. The 99% FM will be "jumped over" as you go from one untranslated segment to the next. Hope it helps. BG Gabriel | | | huutsch Local time: 08:14 German to English + ... Hello Gabriel, thx for your tip. This works quite nicely, however, when I "create" a new 99% match during the translation, this new 99% match will not be "jumped over". Do you have a solution for that? Regards, Michael

Missing feature | Jul 20, 2010 |
There is AFAIK no possibility to set the quality of what should be a "full" match during translation, but this would be an interesting feature to add to Transit.
