Hola:
tengo un archivo en XML. Trabajo con Trados 7.0.0. (Build 615). Si abro el archivo con TagEditor, puedo trabajar con él, pero se pierde todo el formato. ¿Cómo puedo trabajar el archivo XML con Trados respetando el formato? Es decir, el cliente quiere la traducción en este archivo XML.

Hola:
mira, te pego un ejemplo del formato en XML

(aquí no se aprecia, pero hay textos en rojo, en azul y en negrita).
Lo que tengo que traducir es la línea que será Reloj. Ahora si trabajo con TagEditor y guardo después "Save target as XML document" desaparecen los colores. Todos los textos son iguales. No hay ni rojo, ni azul, ni negrita.

Consult Chapter 2 of the Trados Manual, working with XML format. I believe you have to save as ttx and then clean it up, but I am not sure. There are other posts in the forums treating this same situation.

Ya regresé. Me refería a esto que aparece en el capítulo 2 del manual (y tal como lo he visto sugerido en otras respuestas):
Translation Workflow
Translation of HTML, XML, and SGML files involves the following stages:
1 Create a folder structure for your translation project. An orderly folder structure helps you to
keep track of all your source and target files.
2 Prepare the necessary tag settings file(s). For more information, see “Tutorial: Tag
Settings Wizard” on page 2-8.
3 In Translator’s Workbench, activate any translation project and filter settings that are
required.
4 Analyse and pre-translate the files for translation in Translator’s Workbench, using the
Analyse and Translate batch tools.
5 Translate your HTML, XML, and SGML files in TagEditor.
6 Verify the tag content of target files using the verification plug-ins in TagEditor.
7 Save the target files in TradosTag (TTX) bilingual format, using the Save Bilingual As
command in TagEditor.
8 Clean up the translated files using the Clean Up command in Translator’s Workbench.
9 Open the translated HTML, XML, and SGML files in your browser, editing, or
publishing environment for further processing.

Muchas gracias, pero no ha funcionado, aunque lo hice igual como lo dicen en el manual.
Tengo dos líneas:
una es deutsch UHR deutsch (con sus tags que no me permiten copiar aquí)
y debajo está spanisch AQUÍ LA TRADUCCIÓN spanisch. (por si no hablas alemán sería:
german UHR german; spanish TRADU spanish)
Pero en TagEditor siempre me abre solamente la línea de deutsch para poner la traducción. Y no es así. Debe mantenerse esta línea tal como está y tengo q... See more Muchas gracias, pero no ha funcionado, aunque lo hice igual como lo dicen en el manual.
