Give your content the care it deserves

As a plant and garden lover, I take seedlings for the most important and the most fragile beings in the system. As such, they need particular care to be able to bloom and offer all their value in beauty, food, energy and more.

I will give the same care to the content you may entrust me to make it bloom in French and be as productive as possible.

Language love and translation

As a lifelong language lover, I always give extra care to find the right word, the one that will match the source text meaning and render it perfectly in French. I love playing with words to find the best wording. I love making communication easier.

Localization, marketing and literary translation are the best way I’ve found to put my skills into practice and have fun in my everyday work.

My expertize in your domain

I favor 4 sectors that I know well so that I am able to get the message as precisely as possible from the source to render it as accurately as possible in French.

I’ve always been attached to nature in general and environment concern is part of my everyday life since at least the 1990s. I’ve been involved in environment protection non-profit organizations since 2008 and I am constantly improving my knowledge in many aspects of environment protection. My main subjects are organic food production, transport, and waste management.

Three much related domains for me. My first paid job was in a French restaurant and it gave me the very specific terminology related to that sector. Then I’ve been working in close relationship with the whole food production chain for 13 years, and I became familiar with the specific terminology of the sector by translating, proofreading and producing very specific content. At the same time, I started to learn about permaculture and to apply its principles first in my garden and in my whole lifestyle, partly through cooking practices.

I am a real games fan, playing board games, card games and computer games since my youngest age, I play at least a 15 min game daily with my kids and sometimes for hours with family and friends on the table and/or the computer, online or offline, depending on everyone's mood. My very first computer game was on an old yellow monitor, it was a thing with frogs crossing a street in the middle of the traffic jam... great fun! This was when I was 6 years old in 1983. Several years later, I even developed a game in old GW BASIC language. Then came more graphic games that I was no longer able to develop myself but which I love playing. I particularly enjoy the fantasy-like environments.

IT, software and websites w1gngev1jdqdvphk85sg.png

I discovered development in my very young age, my father being a computer engineer shared his passion and gave me the basis. Then I studied languages and came back to computers in the early 1990s. I started to learn HTML, CSS and graphic design, then I came to PHP and even started to develop a CMS in 2001. My employer asked me to join the IT team a few years later and I discovered the whole world of professional development. I was also entrusted the whole web-site development section and was trained to the newest techniques. I never stopped learning in this specific and constantly evolving sector.

I find that the development and translation mental processes are very similar, and I really love the exercise in both cases.
