Hi everyone,

You could open the .txt file in Word, use Find & Replace to hide all text between [] and the symbols you want to ignore, and save as a .docx, then translate the Word document. When finished, use Find & Replace to unhide all the hidden text and save as .txt again.

A better solution would be to write a regular expression to tag such text as being untranslatable.
Project Settings → File Types → Text → Inline tags Add rule → Rule Type → Tag pair
Where the "Tag pair" is a regex that describes the untranslatable text. After exporting the translated text, the tags are restored to the original text.
