Bio
I am a bi-cultural student studying finance/pre-law at Trinity University in San Antonio, Texas, having grown up in Korea and the US speaking both Korean and English natively. I have volunteered my interpreting services at hospitals and immigration drives and am actively involved with the Korean-American community as part of the Korean-American Coalition.
I apply this unique perspective to my work on a daily basis translating legal and medical documents. Thanks to my background, I can also deal easily with general topics without facing cultural barriers.
I mentor under veteran translators and adhere to the “Consistently Good Work” Pledge below. I look forward to supporting you in your work.
------------------------
My "Consistently Good Work" Pledge
I pledge to deliver Consistently Good Quality translations from English to Korean and from Korean to English based on resources, processes, rules and expectations agreed in advance with you.
I pledge to provide Consistently Good Service by communicating clearly, promptly, completely and accurately with a professional demeanor, by delivering on time or early, by following your project instructions and by otherwise sharing my deep expertise in Korean to help you maximize value to your clients. I pledge to maintain confidentiality of your data, respect your client relationships and recognize your ownership of the work product.
I pledge to offer Consistent and Transparent Pricing by charging and invoicing promptly as agreed in advance based on clearly defined and structured rates, discounts and premiums.
I will accept only projects when I am confident I can fulfill this pledge and will charge full price only when I do fulfill it completely. Please let me know when and how I have fallen short so that I can make things right.
