Hi all.
I need your kind help once more. I'm translating a text about low back pain and, as an explanation for postural syndrome, one sentence goes "PS is a mechanical deformation of soft tissue due to prolonged end range of motion positioning". It also reads, a couple of lines below: "Moving away from prolonged end range of motion positioning alleviates pain..."

I do understand the basic concept of it (that long periods of time with no movement cause postural problems), but I can't understand the exact words chosen.

It's probably something really simple that I'm just not seeing...
I'll appreciate your opinions. Thanks!

tiempo prolongado en el limite máximo del rango de movimiento


Explanation:
Con respecto a las articulaciones se habla de rango de movimiento, lo que quiere decir es que la articulación se encuentra en una posición al limite de la amplitud del movimiento y se mantiene en el tiempo lo que conlleva a ese síndrome..esa es la razón por la que sugiero esta respuesta.
