Discussion

Hakki Ucar (asker) Jan 19, 2007:
It'd better to write down phrase here instead of word, thanks.
Inge Dijkstra Jan 19, 2007:
Hakki, I'd suggest to change the sentence into "... purpose, but withdrawal limitations apply to these funds" (I would change 'monies' [should be written as 'moneys' by the way...] into 'funds' as well). Hope this helps!
Hakki Ucar (asker) Jan 19, 2007:
Inge, I see, but , since selected answer is not answer of "is subject to" ,it only explains the sentence you know, what can I put as an answer? any idea ?
Inge Dijkstra Jan 19, 2007:
Hakki, I understand your explanation; however, what I mean to say is that "is conditional upon" was literally the answer given by Zax, while you have selected Alexander's answer, which mentions "apply to". Do you see my point?
Hakki Ucar (asker) Jan 18, 2007:
my question is in the question Inge, Selected answer for explanation of connector verb. But my main question was about connector verb, and in my opinion its meaning close to that; You can use money from saving accounts but amount depends on limitations. are you agree ? or not ?
Inge Dijkstra Jan 18, 2007:
It seems as if you have entered another choice in the glossary (instead of the selected answer) ...

Withdrawals must be approved first

Thanks Anna.
Peer comment(s):

neutral Alexander Demyanov : The original doesn't mention any approval requirements. Withdrawal limitation may mean just "no more than $XXX per day" or anything else
