În primul rând cred că este o greşeală de tipar. Termenul cerut ar trebui să fie "suppletion", in loc de "supplition" care nu există in limba engleză.
Acest "suppletion" vine de la "supplementation" şi înseamnă adăugare sau suplimentare.

: Cuvântul poate să nu existe în EN, dar a fost folosit cu un anumit sens, fiind împrumutat sau whatever. Autorul întrebării a specificat sensul cuv. şi în cazul dat traducem sensul, nu cuvântul.
