During versioning, Provider proceeds to changes that may be qualified as either “breaking” or “non-breaking”.
“Breaking” changes may refer to any kind of:
changes of the format of response of one or more calls of services;
change of type of response;
deletion or changes of part of the API
If the API is subject of a “breaking” change, the number of the version of the API will be incremented in order to avoid any sudden freeze in the current user code.
Any “breaking” changes require the use of developers.”
