In 2002 we were visited by a gentleman from Gold East paper in China. They only had text weights, but were very eager to enter the US market. They had the most modern paper production machines in the world. Thus our relationship with China started. Eventually, everyone started buying paper from China and the market was flooded with it.

Explanation:
100 libbre è il peso di una risma.
"text-weight offset" fa riferimento al tipo di carta (altri tipo sono ad esempio, bond, cover, index...; a ogni tipo corrisponde un formato standard per le risme).
In Italia la carta è definita in grammi per metro quadro e la grammatura corrispondente a un certo peso in libbre dipende dal tipo di carta e dal formato delle risme.
L'equivalente di questo tipo di carta penso sia carta patinata lucida da 148 g/m2 (o grammatura 148)
