"u suženom sastavu" is definitely right.

There is often a "full committee" that would meet only from time to time, and a "Restricted Committee" (Restricted in numbers, say only 5 members instead of the whole 20-30 Committee members) that stays active at all times.

BTW, if you look at the etymology "Povjerenstvo" would be more a translation for "a commission".

Nigdje nisam našla prijevod na HR pa možda da prevedete kao "Nacionalno povjerenstvo za informatiku i slobode u suženom sastavu" uz naziv na francuskom u zagradi naravno, jer prijevoda izgleda nemamo još :-) U svakom slučaju, sretno - možda se još tko javi
