Having recently returned to Australia, and never having done a translation-related tax return before, could anyone here recommend an accountant in Melbourne who knows how to deal with translation related taxation concerning 100% income from overseas?

Maybe you can try www.lipinspartners.com.au. I don't know them personally, but one of my relatives is a senior accountant at the firm. Their office is in Balwyn.
