...it would be interesting to see similar maps for other language groups, e.g. Nordic, Latin, Spanish etc. These maps seem to be restricted to English.

I particularly liked the tree map (map 1) which sort of implies that English is one of the many Indian languages, a claim many Indians too are increasingly making these days.
